Once upon a time, there was a young man named Idris, a sholeh wanderer. Being exhausted of his journey, he went to the river he saw after had a long trip and sunny daylight. He washed his face and then had some drinks of the water from that river. "All praises to Allah, You've given me safety by this water". Then, Suddenly came out something floating on that river approaching Idris. He took it, and very excited that it was an apple. "This probably sustenance for me". Then he eat the apple. When the apple mostly done eaten by Idris, he suddenly realized "Astagfirullah, this apple must be owned by anybody who have the apple tree". Idris was very sad because he had eaten it before getting the permission from the owner. Thus, he decided to looked for apple tree to get permission from the owner. He walked and walked along the river to find out, and then it came up to him an apple garden.
"Ah, This apple must be the property of the owner of that garden"
Suddenly, An old man appeared and he was the owner.
Idris said "I am so sorry, I have eaten your apple without your permission first, what should I do to make ypu forgive me? give me punishment because of my bad"
"Alright then, Because of you fault, you must clean up my garden everyday for a whole month" replied the old man
"OK"
Idris did the what that old man said. He cleaned the garden a full month everyday as the responsibility of eating a floating apple in the river without permitted. The old man was very pleased by the attitude of Idris.
"Idris, after you've cleaned my garden, there was one more thing you must do before I forgive you"
"what is it?"
"you have to marry my daughter, Rukoyah. But, she is blind, deaf, dumb, and paralyzed"
Idris was very startled that he had to marry the old man's daughter of all that sudden, but he really need the forgiveness of the old man, so he did the old man punishment.
For the surprise, what the old man meant by blind is Rukoyah had never seen any bad things by her eyes, She deaf because her ears had never used to hear any bad conversations, she dumb because she had never said bad words, and she paralyzed because she had never went to maksiyat places.
Idris was very happy, he married a beautiful woman with very good attitude.
And then, It was born a baby from their marriage, a boy, he gave him name Muhammad bin Idris Asy-Syafi'i or well-known as Imam Syafi'i.
A very famous ulama' that brought Syafi'i Mazhab.
So, That was the story about Imam Syafii's parents. This story I heard this afternoon, after Dhuhur pray with mita and papa. Then mita and papa correlate it with Phsycology knowledge, that the develompment of phsycological aspects of someone is started not only when perninatal periods (when we are in not born yet), but far back from that, It is about how our parents meet that can influence their children in the future. So, parents should look for the best for their daughter or son to be married with.

Ready Facing Ramadhan, dear?
Assalamualaikum.
Wow, Ramadhan is approaching. yeyyeye! Alhamdulillah I am happy that I still have the chance to face Ramadhan this year. All praises to Allah. Ready facing this very very valuable months, dear? :)
By the way, This morning I went to 'Pengajian' (study Islam leaded by aalim) and it talks about Ramadhan. Here what I get there :)
Things we need to consider when fasting in Ramadhan:
1. Innamal a'malu binniyat. Have you ever heard this aayah? Yup, this aayah means every ibadah (worship) have to be started with niyyah. Niyyah is not about only reciting the niyyah lafadz by mouth, but most importantly is niyyah It must be out from our hear, this is the mistakes that usually done by people.
2. Avoid all the things which can break up the fast. There 8 kinds of activities that break up our fast, so we have to make the fast up later on, they are:
- Eating or drinking.
Yes, obviously! Fasting in Ramadhan is about not eat or drink during the day between imsyak time (early dawn) and maghrib adzan (sunset). In Indonesia especially in Java Island its around 4.30 am up to 6 pm. We may not eat at all at that time, except we forget then eating or drinking unintentionally. Apart from eating and drinking, other things that is forbidden is inserting anything to one of seven channels in our body, they are 2 ears, 2 nostrils, throat, anus, and reproduction channel (vagina/penis). How about taking injection? Injection which is not give to replace drinking or eating (have no nutritional value), but for medication purpose is allowed, regardless of whether they are intra-muscular or intravenous. Puffers used for asthma do not break the fast, because this is just compressed gas that goes to the lungs, it is not food, and it is needed at all times, in ramadhan and at other times.
-Vomiting intentionally
In case of sick, vomiting unintentionally doesn't break the fast.
- Sexual Intercourse during the fasting time (at day) even if there is no emergence of semen.
It breaks the fast and have to make the fast up later on plus expiation fast (kafaarah). Kafaarah fasting lasts for 2 consecutive months.
- Semen secretion intentioanally
- Hayd (menstruation)
- Nifaas (post-natal bleeding)
- Murtad
- Got into crazy
3. Sunnah during Ramadhan
There are so many sunnah during this holy month,
- Suhoor, a prefastmeal before early dawn. It is sunnah, so It is very recomended to do suhoor.
- Ta'jil means open the fast as soon as possible after maghrib adzan (sunset). Eat dates to break the fast is sunnah, then continue drinking water. Pray maghrib after it before eat main course, but if it can disturb our concentration during praying, you should eat first before pray.
- Tarawih pray. Try to pray tarawih every night until the end of Ramadhan. The later of Ramadhan the more reward we get. But, usually at the end of the month, people are busy to prepare Eidul Fitri.
- Giving meals to other people for breaking the fast. We get the reward of fasting the same as they get. O, It brought me to my experience fasting in Mecca. There, people are 'compete' to give meals, snacks, or drinking for people because they know the value of it.
4. Things that not breaking the fast, but remove the reward
- Lying. there are 2 kinds of lying, by oral and by doing for example reducing weight when selling food.
- Talking about bad site of other people
- Watching something forbidden
Fasting is not only about keep our mouth, but also keep our heart. It is time to train our heart when entering the months after Ramadhan. It is our opportunity to look for rewards as many as possible, because the reward is multiplied. I am sure, most of information above you've been used to hear. But, hopefully can remind us when facing fasting months :)
Wassalam :*
